Of course, I was knitting the blanket for warmth, not taste, but hey it's Jackson's present!I used the King Charles Brocade stitch pattern, repeatedly endlessly for the entire blanket. It was a very tedious pattern, and although it came out very elegant, I don't feel like the baby is appreciating the subtle diamond weave texture I produced : ) Cathy, I promise that is the last blanket I will knit for awhile - I know you are probably getting tired of having all these around the house!

No way! they are great keepsakes. And, Jackson thinks they are tastey! One day him or his wife will appreciate it. Reagan uses a blankey my Aunt knit for her stuffed animals to sleep w/! :) thank you again!
