Today I am grateful for the excessive cuteness of babies. I say excessive because really, by virtue of their being tiny and helpless, I would take care of a baby without coercion. Their evolutionary talent of being cute is kind of unnecessary - at least they don't need to be as adorable as they are in order to survive! So I am glad that God or whatever gives us life sees fit to make babies totally irresistible. Sure, it may make it impossible to be productive when there's a baby in the room discovering his feet, but it certainly brings joy to my life!

Excessive Cuteness
Today I am grateful for the excessive cuteness of babies. I say excessive because really, by virtue of their being tiny and helpless, I would take care of a baby without coercion.
